Terms and Conditions

  • The minimum age for guests is 12 years. Rates for children are same as adults.
  • Natural wildlife including wallabies and ground-feeding birds share our gardens so pets are not permitted.
  • Bookings are essential and may be made with a credit card over the phone or by cheque by post with a deposit of the cost of one night’s stay or one third of total cost of stay whichever is the greater amount.
  • Deposits are refundable less a $30 fee if bookings are canceled 30 days prior to first night booked for Public Holidays or Christmas – New Year and or 14 days prior to stays at other times.
  • Refunds are not made to guests who fail to show, arrive later or depart earlier than dates booked.
  • Balance payments MUST BE PAID ON ARRIVAL in Australian dollars and may be paid by cash, Visa or MasterCard. Sorry AMEX and personal cheques not accepted.
  • Rates do not cover damage or loss of Halcyon Retreat property and will be billed separately to guest.
  • Check in time is AFTER 2 pm and BEFORE 8 pm on the day of arrival.
  • Check out time is BEFORE 10 am on day of departure.
  • Late checkout until 12 noon is only permitted subject to arriving guests and by special arrangement.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside buildings but ashtrays are provided on the veranda
  • As this is a retreat, parties are not permitted.
